Igloo Marine Cooler comprises of different parts including the cooler latch, hinges, drain plug, spigot push bottom, etc. The hinges and the latches are made from the stainless steel. Hence, there is no problem of corrosion or rusting in the metal which enhances the life of the cooler.
The engineers have worked very hard in making this cooler. The drain plugs are threaded wherever specified. The threaded drain plugs are used in smaller coolers below 48qt. It can also be unthreaded which is mainly used for the larger coolers about 48qt and above it. It is easier to drain out the liquids inside it. The drain plug should match its type otherwise replacement will not be successful.
It has wheels and handle that are made from rubber. The handles when rubberized helps in maintaining the temperature as rubber is bad conductor of heat. The heat outside in the surrounding is not transferred to the inner part. By doing this, the temperature inside it remains cooler. The space inside the cooler is made from plastic, Polyethylene case which is insulated by PU foam. There is tight insulation so the air outside cannot move inside. The ice inside it remains for longer time by doing so.
